“Ipod Shuffle”
Sunday June 13th 4:00pm
Reading Memorial High School.
Please bring your child a ½ hour prior to the show to the dressing room area, which will be posted, to be with his or her class and volunteer chaperones. There will be coloring books and storybooks for little ones to occupy them while they are backstage. If your child will be sitting with you for the show please be courteous of others watching the show when bringing them back before their dance. Please be sure you child is backstage 5 numbers prior to their dance. If your child will be picked up after their dance and sitting with you again be courteous of others watching the show. Any child wanting to be a part of the finale must be backstage 5 numbers prior to the last dance. All are welcome to enter for the finale with their class…* Reminder if your child is sitting with you they must have a ticket with the exception of the Story Time Dance class. Students will have the opportunity to sit in the audience with chaperones; a section of the balcony will be sectioned off for the dancers performing.
Recital Makeup and Hair
Stage makeup is recommended for the recital as it helps for the performers not to look washed out by the lights. Recommendations: Eye shadow, blush, lipstick, eyeliner, and mascara. Please have little ones white ballet slippers clean and with the ties tucked in. Mister magic eraser wipes work great for cleaning scuffed up slippers. It there are any questions on costumes or hair please see the desk.
Dress Rehearsal:
Saturday June 12th from 8:00am – 11:00am and Sunday June 13th 9:00am - 1:00pm.
Below are the scheduled dress rehearsal times. (Anyone rehearsing between 8:00am and 9:10am please arrive at 7:50am in costume, as we will start right at 8:00am. Once we have rehearsed the number the class will be free to go and the class chaperone will bring the group out to the lobby.) As for all classes rehearsing after 9:00am please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time in costume and ready to dance. Each class will have a 10-minute time frame to do staging, lighting, and a run through of the dance. We will have a full run through of the show with costume changes on Sunday June 13th at 11:00am. All performance group students are required to be at the full run through. Any other students wanting to be there for the full run through are encouraged to do so, especially if you are performing in more than five pieces.
*No parents are allowed in the theater during dress rehearsal with the exception of volunteers.

Chaperones for Dress Rehearsal
All chaperones for the young dancers please arrive at 7:45am. Once the dancers have rehearsed on the stage they are free to go and will be brought back to the lobby by their group chaperone.

Recital DVD
Don’t miss out on your child’s recital performance…. Majestic Video Productions will be the company recording the recital this year. The cost for each DVD will be $35.00. There are DVD order forms available at the desk as well as at the recital. Video and digital recording will not be permitted during the recital.
