The Dancer’s Intensive

August 2nd – August 6th

Ages 8-11 and 12&up

Full Day - $250.00/week
Half Day (9am-12:45pm) - $160.00/ week
Half Day (1:15pm - 4:15pm) - $130.00/week
Single Class - $75.00/week

The Dancer’s Intensive is a 5-day camp filled with many different styles of dance for the versatile dancer. Brush up and strengthen a technique you already know or come and experience many new ones. The camp will include Pilates, Ballet, Pointe for the intermediate/advanced dancer, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. There will be a performance on Friday from 3:30-4:15 to showcase the week’s accomplishments.

Our line up of teachers: Ruth Bronwen, Li-Ann Lim, Laura Osgood, and Lisa Cataldo. Guest teachers for the week are Cosmin Marculetiu from Jose Mateo’s Ballet Theatre and Sean Fielder artistic director of The Boston Tap Company plus more. Bring your lunch and many snacks and of course your entire dance bag of shoes.

Ballet Summer Workshop Series

June 28th – August 12th

Monday – Wednesday - Thursday

$225 for full 6 weeks
$55 per week

The Ballet Summer Workshop series is designed for serious intermediate level dancers who want to
strengthen ballet technique used in all styles of dance.

Week I & II -
June 28th –July 1st
July 5th – July 8th
Focus will be on turns – placement, balance, turnout, fuetes
Week III & IV -
July 12th – July 15th
July 19th - July 22nd
Focus will be on jumps – Petite and Grande Allegro
Week V & VI -
July 26th – July 29th
Focus will be on Flexibility/Extensions as well as choreography (Variations)
Week VII
August 9th – August 12th
Focus will be on Performance

Back-To-Basics (7- week Workshop)

Back- to-Basics is a camp for the beginner through intermediate level dancer. Every dancer must have the basics and will utilize them in all their levels of dance. Come to learn something new or strengthen what you already know. Going back to the basics can help any dancer.

Stage Presence Workshop (5 – weeks)

June 28th – July 26th -
Monday evenings (6:15pm – 7:30pm)

Stage Presence is a movement-based workshop designed to help dancers learn how to make emotional connections to the pieces being performed—it is not enough to simply go through the motions of the choreography! We will learn how to become comfortable stepping into any character or mood in order to project the emotional context of any dance story. Dance projects may be based upon visual and sound cues, photography, poetry and song lyrics, current events, and exploration of qualities such as weight, age, size, and color. Join us for this valuable experience and learn how to step outside of your comfort zone and into the performance zone!

Kicks, Jumps, & Turns Camp (4-Day)

Our Kicks, Jumps & Turns Camp is our end of summer camp that will work new trends of today. There is always a new kick, jump, or turn and when better to learn and master it than the end of the summer and before yearly dance classes begin. Bring in a new jump or turn and lets master it…

Princess Camp (4-day)

Ages (2-1/2 – 4) 10am – 11:30am

The Princess Camp is for our littlest ones who love to be a Princess. The camp is will play music and incorporate a craft from all our little ones favorite princesses. Please bring a snack for craft time.

Barbie Ballerina Camp (4-Day)

July 26th – July 29th or
August 9th – August 12th

Ages (4-7) 11:30am – 1:30pm

Our Barbie Ballerina camp is for our preschoolers through 1st graders who want to be a Barbie Ballerina. The camp will play music from some hit Barbie movies such as the new Barbie and the Mermaid Tail and incorporate a craft. Please bring a lunch for craft time.

Nutcracker Camp (4-Day)

July 26th – July 29th or
August 9th – August 12th

Ages (7-10) 11:30am – 1:30pm

Our Nutcracker camp is for our 1st graders – 4th graders who dream of being Clara… The camp will play music from the Nutcracker, incorporate a craft and watch some of the ballet. The kids will enjoy learning some ballet steps they see Clara perform. Please bring a lunch for movie time.

Adult Ballroom (7 – weeks sessions)

Our adult ballroom camp is a 7-week camp. Come to learn something new or continue on with what you already know. A fun night out for singles or couples!

Adult Tap (7 – weeks sessions)

Adults need a night out too… Come learn some rhythmic tap moves and have great fun! If you ever thought of trying tap, summer is the perfect time and it is great exercise too.

Pilates

July 12th – September 3rd

Our Pilates summer session will offer adult classes for beginner through advanced and a Pilates for Dancers/Athletes Class (12 & up). Pilates is a full mind/body conditioning method designed to tone, lengthen and strengthen your muscles. A movement system that works your total body from your core. It improves flexibility and strength without building bulk. Come learn the basics or try NEW Pilates Plus which incorporates cardio and strength training.

Zumba

Our Zumba summer session will offer one-hour classes. Zumba fuses hypnotic latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms, and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. It is a fun aerobic program!

$42.00 (1) class a week

$75.00 (2) classes a week
