The Dancer’s Intensive

August 1st – August 5th

Ages: 9 & up

$250.00/week - Full Day
$180.00/ week - Half Day (8:45am-1:00pm)

Single Class weekly options

The Dancer's Intensive is a 5-day camp filled with many different styles of dance for the versatile dancer. Brush up and strengthen a technique you already know or come and experience many new ones. The camp will include Pilates, Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Jazz. There will be a performance on Friday from 3:30-4:15 to showcase the week's accomplishments.

Our line up of teachers: Ruth Bronwen, Lucy Warren-Whitman, Laura Osgood, and Lisa Cataldo. Some guest teachers for the week include Gianni DeMarco from Ballet Rox and Sandi Duncan from the Self Esteem workshop for dancers. Bring your lunch and many snacks.

Ballet Summer Workshop Series

July 11th – July 28th

The Ballet Summer Workshop series is designed for serious dancers who want to strengthen ballet technique used in all styles of dance.

Week I
July 11th – July 14th

Focus will be on turns – placement, balance, turnout, fuetes

Week II
July 18th - July 21st

Focus will be on jumps – Petite and Grande Allegro

Week III
July 25th – July 28th
Focus will be on Flexibility/Extensions

Choreography Workshop (7-weeks)

June 27th - August 8th

Monday evenings (6:45pm - 7:45pm)
$70.00

This class is geared towards students interested in creating their own choreography. They will be guided through the process through a mentor. They will create their own concepts, decide on music, and set movement to establish their concept.

Stretch and Strengthen (7- weeks)

June 28th – August 9th -
Beginner - Intermediate Level Dancers
Tuesday and Thursday evenings (6:15pm - 7:00pm)

$60.00 (1 class a week)
$100.00 (2 classes a week)

This is a class designed to help improve flexibility and muscle strength.  This class combined with the core strength from the pilates class helps build a strong dancer.

Pilates for Dancers/Athletes (7-weeks)

June 29th – August 10th

Pilates and dance both stress excellence of movement, and in both disciplines there is an emphasis on the purity of the form of the execution of each and every movement.  Pilates helps with the grace and style of a dancer, and sport the strong sculpted muscles and flexibility of a dancer.  Pilates is a movement system that works your total body from your core.  It improves flexibility and strength without building bulk. Pilates helps with breath control in conjunction with movements you are doing.

Kicks, Jumps, & Turns Camp (4-Day)

August 15th – August 18th

Ages (8-12) 4:30pm - 6:00pm
Ages (13&up) 6:00pm – 7:30pm

Our Kicks, Jumps & Turns Camp is our end of summer camp that will work new trends of today. There is always a new kick, jump, or turn and when better to learn and master it than the end of the summer and before yearly dance classes begin.  Bring in a new jump or turn and lets master it…

Mini Intensive (4-day) - (Ages 6 - 9)

July 25th – July 28th - (9:00am – 1:30pm)

$140.00

The Mini Intensive is designed for those younger dancers who love it all.  They will experience ballet, tap, and hip-hop.  Please bring snacks and water for break times and lunch.

Princess Camp (4-day)

July 18th  – July 21st or August 8th  – August 11th

Ages (2-1/2 – 4) 10am – 11:30am

The Princess Camp is for our littlest ones who love to be a Princess.  The camp will play music and incorporate a craft from all our little ones favorite princesses.  Please bring a snack for craft time.

Barbie Ballerina Camp (4-Day)

July 18th  – July 21st or
August 8th  – August 11th

Ages (4-7) 11:30am – 1:30pm

Our Barbie Ballerina camp is for our preschoolers through 1st graders who want to be a Barbie Ballerina.  The camp will play music from some hit Barbie movies such as the new Barbie and a Fashion Fairy Tail, Barbie Fairy Secret, Barbie and the Mermaid Tail and incorporate a craft.  Please bring a lunch for craft time.

Boys Hip Hop (7 - Week workshop)

June 30th  – August 11th  

(Ages 6 – 9) Thursday evenings  (5:30pm - 6:30pm )
 
(Ages 10 & up)  Thursday evenings  (6:30pm - 7:30pm)

This class is designed for the boys only… Being a true b-boy means living the hip hop lifestyle. You're innovative. You study the art of breaking, locking, and popping. You're influenced by those around you, where you live and the great b-boys before you. What separates hip-hop dance from other forms of dance is that it is often freestyle (improvisational) in nature and hip-hop dancers.

Adult Ballroom (7 – weeks sessions)

Our adult ballroom camp is a 7-week camp. Come to learn something new or continue on with what you already know. A fun night out for singles or couples!

Adults need a night out too… Come learn some rhythmic tap moves and have great fun!  If you ever thought of trying tap, summer is the perfect time and it is great exercise too.

Come learn the fundamentals of ballet! Ballet class can help with balance and strength and is a great form of exercise.

Adult Pilates (10 week session)

June 20th - August 27th

$100 - 1 class/week
$180 - 2 classes/week
$240 - 3 classes/week

Our Pilates summer session will offer adult classes for beginner through advanced and a Pilates for Dancers/Athletes Class (12 & up). Pilates is a full mind/body conditioning method designed to tone, lengthen and strengthen your muscles. A movement system that works your total body from your core. It improves flexibility and strength without building bulk. Come learn the basics or try NEW Pilates Plus which incorporates cardio and strength training.

Zumba (7-week session)

Our Zumba summer session will offer one-hour classes. Zumba fuses hypnotic latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms, and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. It is a fun aerobic program!

$75.00 (1) class a week
