Mr. Griffin’s career in the arts began as a boy soprano in the choir of men & boys at Christ Church Cathedral, Hartford CT. As a soloist he attended consecutive summers at The Royal School of Church Music at Princeton & Lawrenceville Schools. Studied acting with Clay Stevenson and performed in regional theater groups and professionally at the Hartford Stage Company. Vocal Coach for Hartford Stage Co.’s Youth Theatre. Taught private Bass Guitar lessons while studying voice at Oberlin Conservatory. Taught Song Writing Workshops for The Wang Center’s Young at Arts program in Boston, MA. Composed incidental music for the plays No Politics & Symbiotic by Patrick Brennan. Lyricist for Play/Musical First Person Shooter, which won the Best Plays of 2000 competition at Stageplays.com by Patrick Brennan. Musical Director, songwriter & arranger for Boston based Band Neon Grandma a funk/hip hop, spoken-word six-piece band. Mr. Griffin has also directed many plays performed through The Playwright’s Platform & Hovey Summer shorts as well as a number of new plays for Boston’s playwright community.
